Vissel Kobe signs forward Elyki from FC Machida Zelvia

Vissel Kobe has announced the permanent transfer of 32-year-old Brazilian forward Elyki from FC Machida Zelvia. This move marks a return to Kobe for the player, who previously played for the club on loan during the 2025 season.

Elyki has an extensive career in Japan, having previously played for Yokohama F. Marinos and contributing to their league title. Most recently, he played for Machida Zelvia, where he earned the J2 Most Valuable Player award and helped the team achieve promotion to J1. During his 2025 loan spell at Kobe, he appeared in 29 league matches and scored 9 goals.

Upon his return, Elyki expressed his gratitude to the city and the club, stating, “Kobe has welcomed us warmly and given us so much love. And Kobe has become an important place for our family. Now, we have returned to Kobe to write a new chapter.” He emphasized his hunger for victory and his desire to compete for titles with the team.
