Vista Alegre and Centenario firefighters trade accusations following grass fire

A grass fire on the border between Vista Alegre and Centenario has led to mutual accusations between volunteer firefighting units. During the operation near Calle 11 Bis, members of the Vista Alegre Volunteer Firefighters reported being assaulted and facing difficulties securing water supplies. Specifically, they claimed a municipal tanker was prevented from entering to provide water for their equipment.

The Neuquén Firefighters Federation reported receiving complaints regarding an assault on a member of the Centenario Volunteer Firefighters and damage to a drone used during the operation. While the fire was successfully contained before reaching a nearby residence, the institutional friction and physical altercations are currently under investigation to clarify the events.
