Vista Bank expands operations with French launch and housing finance partnership

Vista Bank has officially launched its French subsidiary, Vista Bank France, with €50 million in approved capital. Led by Serge Raymond, the Paris-based entity aims to serve as a gateway for African clients to access international financial markets. The subsidiary will provide services including correspondent banking, trade finance, corporate services, factoring, foreign exchange, and treasury operations. By establishing a European presence, the group intends to reduce reliance on third-party intermediary banks, thereby lowering costs and increasing transaction speeds for its clients.

In a separate strategic move, Vista Group Holding SA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shelter Afrique Development Bank. The partnership focuses on mobilizing long-term capital to address the affordable housing financing gap in West Africa. The collaboration will combine Shelter Afrique’s housing expertise and long-term capital with Vista’s extensive African banking network to support developers and expand access to housing. The initiative aims to facilitate risk sharing and technical assistance across Vista’s operational markets.
