Vista Equity Partners explores $3 billion sale of Allvue Systems

Vista Equity Partners is exploring a potential sale of Allvue Systems, a fintech provider specializing in data and analytics for asset managers and credit investors. The deal could value the Miami-headquartered company at up to $3 billion, including debt.

Vista has reportedly engaged investment banks Evercore and Barclays to manage the process. The move follows a previous attempt by Allvue to launch an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021, which was unsuccessful due to a downturn in financial technology stock valuations.

Allvue Systems, formed in 2019 through the merger of AltaReturn and Black Mountain Systems, provides software for portfolio monitoring, fund accounting, and compliance. The company reportedly generates over $200 million in annual recurring revenue and maintains margins exceeding 30 per cent.
