Vista Global Holding plans $1 billion IPO and Asia expansion
Vista Global Holding, the world’s largest business aviation group, is planning an initial public offering (IPO) that could raise more than $1 billion. The company is reportedly considering several European stock exchanges for the listing, including the SIX Swiss Exchange and potentially Milan. The valuation of the company could exceed $10 billion, with proceeds intended primarily to reduce its debt. Major financial institutions, including Bank of America, UBS, and Unicredit, have been tasked with the IPO, which is expected to take place no earlier than next year.
Founded in 2004 by Thomas Flohr, the company currently operates a fleet of approximately 360 aircraft. Flohr, who is majority owner, may see his stake diluted following the recent entry of RRJ Capital and the potential issuance of new shares.
In a separate strategic move, the company is expanding its brand presence in Asia. Vista is debuting its signature hospitality experience, Vista House, in Singapore during the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix weekend. The event serves as an exclusive clubhouse for VistaJet and XO Members, featuring live race viewing and an event with VistaJet Brand Ambassador Charles Leclerc. This marks the first time Vista House has been staged in Asia.
