Vistahermosa police crack down on nightlife disturbances

The Vistahermosa Shopping Center on the Costa Oeste is facing recurring issues with summer nightlife, specifically regarding 'botellón' (street drinking), large youth gatherings, litter, and fights. Residents report that the situation has intensified in recent years due to the presence of nightclubs in the area, leading to significant noise and disturbances during the early morning hours.

In response, Local and National Police have launched a joint intervention to curb these activities. During the weekend of August 14–16, authorities issued 70 citations for violations of the Citizen Coexistence Ordinance. While residents note that police response times can be slow, they have observed an increased presence of law enforcement compared to previous seasons.
