Vistula Sounds festival marks 5th anniversary in Bydgoszcz, Poland

The International Vistula Sounds festival, named after Irena Santor, is celebrating its fifth edition from 11 to 15 August 2024 in Bydgoszcz. The five‑day event will host artists and contestants from more than 20 countries and feature vocal competitions, inter‑cultural meetings, concerts, workshops and regional tours, most of which are free to the public.

The opening ceremony will take place at the Opera Nova on 11 August, followed by a gala concert and award ceremony for the Grand Prix. Guest of honour Grażyna Brodzińska and jury chairperson Irena Santor will attend, while festival co‑founder and director Mariusz Kisielewski highlights the move to Bydgoszcz – a UNESCO Creative City – as a step toward larger spaces and greater international profile.
