Visual health programs to provide eye exams in Argentina

Community visual health programs are being implemented across several locations in Argentina to provide eye examinations and affordable eyewear.

In General La Madrid and Las Martinetas, visual graduation controls will take place on October 14 and 15. The initiative, driven by Visión Comunitaria, aims to facilitate access to glasses through free consultations and various frame options, including free models and discounted alternatives. Services will be held at the CAPS in Las Martinetas and the CAPS 17 de Octubre in General La Madrid.

In América, the Fundación Banco Provincia program ‘Ver para seguir aprendiendo’ will offer similar services for individuals over the age of 13. Registration for the program will occur on October 13 at the Palacio Municipal in Rivadavia, with 130 appointments available on a first-come, first-served basis. The eye care sessions will be conducted at the CIC Los Sauces on October 14 and 15.
