Visual Studio Code receives new extensions for code fragments and RStudio addins

New developments in the Visual Studio Code ecosystem include the introduction of the Code Fragments extension and the integration of RStudio addins.

The Code Fragments extension was developed to assist with live technical presentations. It allows users to save selected pieces of code as fragments via the Command Palette or context menu, providing a way to quickly insert code during demonstrations without relying on traditional code snippets or manual copy-pasting.

Additionally, a project has successfully ported RStudio addins to the Visual Studio Code R extension. This implementation allows popular R addins, such as fnmate and datapasta, to function within VSCode by mimicking the RStudio API, facilitating better integration between the editor and R sessions.
