Visy Logistics expands fleet for Coca-Cola partnership

Visy Logistics has entered into a new linehaul partnership with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) to support transport requirements across selected Australian lanes. To facilitate this agreement, Visy Logistics is expanding its national fleet with new Volvo FH600 prime movers and Vawdrey 36-pallet B-double trailer combinations.

The new equipment is designed to increase operational efficiency and sustainability. The 36-pallet B-double combinations provide 6 per cent more carrying capacity than previous 34-pallet configurations, which helps reduce the total number of truck movements required for the same freight volume. Additionally, the new Euro 6 engines in the Volvo prime movers are expected to use 5 per cent less fuel than the older Euro 5 models.
