Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP promotes Italian meat quality

The Consorzio di Tutela del Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP has conducted an extensive summer campaign to promote its certified meat, highlighting the Chianina, Marchigiana, and Romagnola breeds. The initiative included various culinary events across Italy, such as the Fiera Agricola del Santerno in Imola, the Tramonto DiVino event in Cesenatico, and the Bravìo delle Botti in Montepulciano.

Following these summer events, the Consortium is participating in the ‘Gragnano Città della Pasta’ festival from September 11 to 13. During this event, the certified meat will be featured in diverse culinary interpretations, ranging from traditional Italian dishes like Bolognese ragù to international styles such as Greek moussaka and Tex-Mex pasta. Director Andrea Petrini noted that the festival provides a valuable opportunity to promote ‘Made in Italy’ quality and demonstrate how high-quality ingredients can be integrated into global culinary languages.
