Viterbo: Activists targeted during Futuro Nazionale political event
Activists from the Futuro Nazionale party's Comitato 167 were targeted in Viterbo when individuals in a passing vehicle threw water bottles at their information gazebo on Viale Trento. Umberto Fusco, the committee coordinator, reported that while no injuries occurred, the incident soaked activists and damaged documents signed by citizens. Law enforcement reportedly identified the perpetrators following the event.
The political presence of the group has also drawn criticism from former councilor Giacomo Barelli. Barelli described the party's decision to hold propaganda stands during the local Santa Rosa festivities as “a political shame.” He argued that the party's platform promotes division and exclusion, which he claims contradicts the community values of solidarity and respect celebrated during the city's traditional festival.
