Viterbo approves new school and gym project for La Quercia

The Municipality of Viterbo has approved a new urban project for the La Quercia area to resolve a long-standing administrative stalemate. The updated plan replaces a previously unbuilt nursery school with an expansion of the local elementary school, which will include new educational spaces, a gymnasium, and related services.

This decision updates a 2008 urban planning program and a 2010 convention. Mayor Chiara Frontini stated that the measure adapts old planning predictions to meet the current needs of the school and the territory. The project follows consultations with school authorities to ensure the new facilities address modern requirements.
