Viterbo moves smart waste island from Grottana to Pian del Gatto

The municipality of Viterbo announced that on Thursday, 6 August at 14:00, the computerized ecological island currently located at the IP5 Grottana proximity point (near a level crossing) will be transferred to the IP3 Pian del Gatto proximity point on Strada Teverina. The relocation is intended to improve the visibility of railway signage at the former site and enhance safety.

Authorized users who previously used the Grottana island can continue to dispose of waste at the new IP3 Pian del Gatto location or at IP8 in Via Lucca. The municipal administration thanked residents for their cooperation and apologized for any inconvenience caused by the move.
