Viterbo municipality offers free-use of Via Treviso property to third‑sector NGOs

The Viterbo city council approved, by decree No. 246 dated 30 July 2026, a free‑use concession of a municipal building on Via Treviso. The administration will soon publish a public call inviting third‑sector organisations (ODV/APS) that have been registered with the Runts for at least six months and have their legal seat in Viterbo to apply for the space.

Mayor Chiara Frontini said the measure aims to promote civic participation, social inclusion, cultural growth and to strengthen the local associative network, especially for youth and vulnerable groups. Assessors Giancarlo Martinengo added that the initiative seeks transparent, effective use of municipal assets to support community projects and foster solidarity.

The concession will allow eligible NGOs to use the premises as headquarters and for activities that serve the citizenry, contributing to the city’s social and cultural development.
