Viterbo political posters vandalised ahead of Festa dei Patrioti

In Viterbo, dozens of posters promoting the upcoming Festa dei Patrioti were torn and damaged across the city. The posters featured an image of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and were defaced in several locations ahead of the July 30 event at Capodimonte.

Fratelli d’Italia local coordinator Luigi Maria Buzzi condemned the act as "vile and intolerable," stressing that ideas should be debated, not attacked with vandalism. Buzzi noted similar incidents have occurred before in Viterbo, but affirmed the party will restore the damaged materials and proceed with the festival, emphasizing the event’s role in fostering public dialogue and political discussion.

The party thanked volunteers for their continued organizational work and pledged that intimidation will not halt their political activity.
