Viterbo schools receive interim principal appointments

The Regional School Office (USR) has finalized the appointment of interim principals (reggenti) for several schools in the Tuscia region of Viterbo for the 2026/2027 school year. This follows an urgent search to fill vacancies left after previous leadership appointments.

Maria Cristina Baleani has been assigned to lead the Paolo Ruffini Scientific High School in Viterbo, while also continuing her role at the Pietro Vanni Comprehensive Institute. Monica Cavalletti will take over the regency at the Paolo Egidi Comprehensive Institute, returning to the institution where she previously served. In Capranica, Emilia Conti has been confirmed to maintain her role as interim principal.

The appointments were made after the USR reviewed the availability and professional curricula of existing school leaders, prioritizing experience and organizational needs to ensure the schools are prepared for the start of the academic year.
