Viterbo seeks temporary management for Enrico Rocchi Stadium

The Municipality of Viterbo has issued a public notice for the temporary management of the Enrico Rocchi Stadium for the 2026-2027 season. This emergency measure follows the decision by US Viterbese Ssd arl to withdraw from its multi-year concession, which was originally set to expire in 2035.

Viterbese cited the team's failure to register for the 2026-2027 Eccellenza championship as the reason for the withdrawal, noting that the competitive and managerial prerequisites were no longer met. Consequently, the municipality will proceed with the termination of the previous contract and the seizure of the performance bond.

To avoid municipal costs related to maintenance, security, and utilities, the administration has opted for a 12-month temporary assignment via a negotiated procedure. The call for interest is open to amateur sports clubs, associations, and recognized federations.
