Viterbo students perform musical plagiarism trial for European Justice Week

Students from the Santa Rosa and Orioli high schools in Viterbo participated in a theatrical production titled “Maxi processo per plagio musicale ai danni del maestro Pachelbel” (Massive trial for musical plagiarism against Maestro Pachelbel). The performance took place at the University of Tuscia’s Santa Maria in Gradi auditorium as part of the third edition of European Justice Week.

The play was written and directed by lawyers Guglielmo Ascenzi and Leonardo Ricci. It aimed to use theater as an educational tool to connect students with the legal profession and the functioning of judicial processes. More than thirty students participated, with those from the human sciences and music tracks performing roles, while students from the Orioli artistic high school contributed to the scenography.

The initiative was organized through a collaboration between the Santa Rosa high school, the University of Tuscia, and a permanent school-university-professional orders committee.
