Viterbo to host inclusive football event during European Week of Sport

As part of the second edition of the European Week of Sport 2026, the FIGC Lega Nazionale Dilettanti will host the “Il Calcio a Portata di Mano” event in Viterbo from September 25 to 26. The initiative is part of the Viterbo Half Marathon program.

The event aims to use football as a tool for social inclusion and connection across different generations. The format features three distinct ways to experience the sport: digital football with gaming stations, foosball, and traditional table football (Subbuteo).

The program is organized in collaboration with the European Parliament’s Office in Italy and the European Commission’s Representation in Italy, following an initiative by European Parliament Vice President Antonella Sberna.
