Vitesse signs Swedish midfielder Pontus Dahbo on loan

Vitesse has announced the signing of 20-year-old Swedish midfielder Pontus Dahbo. The player joins the Arnhem-based club on loan from BK Häcken for the remainder of the season, with an option to purchase included in the agreement.

Dahbo, a left-footed player known for his technical ability, creativity, and tactical insight, has significant experience for his age. He has appeared in over 100 official matches for BK Häcken in the Allsvenskan and has competed in European competitions, including the Europa League and Conference League. He has also represented various Swedish youth national teams, including the U21 side.

Vitesse General Director Joost de Wit expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, noting that Dahbo’s playing style aligns with the club's ambitions. Dahbo joins the squad immediately and aims to secure regular playing time in Dutch football.
