Franco Anselma, a 68-year-old well-known enologist and viticulturist, died following an agricultural accident in Serralunga d’Alba, Italy. The incident occurred around noon on Friday, October 2, in the Collaretto locality during the final stages of the grape harvest.
Anselma was driving an agricultural vehicle pulling a trailer loaded with grapes when the vehicle overturned on the road for reasons still under investigation. Despite immediate interventions by emergency medical services, including an air ambulance, and firefighters from the Alba detachment, the man's injuries proved fatal.
