Vito Mielnicki Jr. wins WBA Continental Americas middleweight title

Vito Mielnicki Jr. secured a unanimous decision victory over Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams in a ten-round middleweight bout, earning the WBA Continental Americas middleweight title. Mielnicki, whose record improved to 24-1 with 13 knockouts, controlled the match with movement and accurate combinations after dropping Williams in the opening round with a hook combination. All three judges scored the bout 98-91 in favor of Mielnicki.

Following the win, Mielnicki expressed his ambition to climb the rankings and pursue a world title. He identified Erislandy Lara, Carlos Adames, and Denzel Bentley as potential future opponents. While the victory demonstrated Mielnicki's discipline and ability to maintain composure after an early knockdown, analysts noted questions regarding his finishing ability as Williams was able to complete the full ten rounds.
