Vitor Guedes joins iG as sports columnist

Journalist and professor Vitor Guedes has joined the iG portal as a columnist. He will debut with a column titled ‘Vitão Raiz’, which focuses on analysis and opinion regarding the sports universe.

Guedes brings decades of experience in sports journalism, having worked for various major Brazilian media outlets including LANCE!, UOL, BandNews FM, Bandsports, and SporTV. His career includes covering World Cups and Club World Cups, as well as teaching at UNG and Faculdade Cásper Líbero.

His new column aims to maintain a direct and irreverent style. Guedes stated that he intends to be “direct to the point, with the commitment to always say what I think, in a clear and direct way, without making excuses or trying to please anyone.”
