Vitor Roque secures Libertadores semifinal spot for Palmeiras

Palmeiras goalkeeper Carlos Miguel jokingly predicted that striker Vitor Roque would score during the team's trip to face LDU in Quito. The prediction proved accurate as Roque scored during regulation time and successfully converted his penalty during the shootout, securing Palmeiras' advancement to the Copa Libertadores semifinals.

Following the match, Carlos Miguel praised the striker's resilience, noting that Roque had recently faced criticism regarding his performance. Roque explained that his decision to use a chip shot during the penalty shootout was a last-minute choice made to avoid repeating his previous attempt.
