Vitorchiano approves 2025 budget and twinning pact with Aboud

The Vitorchiano City Council has approved its 2025 consolidated budget, which shows positive financial results for its participated companies, including Esco Tuscia Spa and ASMEL Consortile Scarl. Mayor Ruggero Grassotti also announced the start of a process for the facilitated settlement of municipal taxes, aimed at helping citizens in difficulty and improving collection efficiency.

Additionally, the Council approved a twinning pact with the Palestinian community of Aboud in the West Bank. This formal institutional link follows a year-long process that began when the Council voted unanimously to recognize the State of Palestine. According to Councilor Alessandro Vagnoni, the agreement was reached in compliance with national laws governing international twinning and has received ministerial assent. The pact is intended to foster cultural exchanges, educational projects, and social cooperation between the two communities.
