Vitorchiano mourns death of 18-month-old boy in Rome

A community in Vitorchiano is mourning the death of an eighteen-month-old boy, Davide D’Orazi, who died in Rome on October 28. According to reports, the child choked on a piece of apple.

The child was rushed to the Policlinico Gemelli hospital, but medical efforts were unsuccessful. The boy's grandfather, Raffaele D’Orazi, is a well-known former city council member and trade unionist in Vitorchiano, while his grandmother served as a local teacher for thirty years.

Vitorchiano Mayor Ruggiero Grassotti expressed the community's condolences, stating that the loss of such a young child deeply affects everyone.
