Vitorchiano secures funding for former San Pietro church renovation

The Lazio Region has confirmed co-financing for the renovation of the former San Pietro church in Vitorchiano, Italy. The project aims to transform the building into a modern, functional auditorium capable of hosting conferences, theatrical performances, and concerts.

The total cost of the project is approximately 525,000 euros. This includes 348,000 euros in regional funds and approximately 130,000 euros already committed by the municipality. The renovation will also ensure the facility is accessible to people with disabilities.

The project is expected to be completed by 2027. The development follows a long process that began in 2018, after the municipality successfully established full ownership of the property following a ruling by the Court of Appeal of Rome.
