Vitória launches first direct experimental flight to Buenos Aires
A direct experimental flight between Vitória, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina will operate on 17 October 2024 with a return on 24 October 2024. The service is being run by Gol Linhas Aéreas and the travel packages will be sold by CVC Viagens.
The flight is part of the Project of Internationalisation of the Destination Espírito Santo, coordinated by the State Tourism Secretariat (Setur), the State Tourism Council (Contures), Sebrae/ES and Fecomércio‑ES, with operational support from Zurich Airport Brazil. Promotion includes a “Semana do Espírito Santo” in Argentina, roadshows in four Argentine cities, a journalist familiarisation trip and participation in FIT América Latina. Argentina supplies about 3.3 million tourists to Brazil each year, making it the country’s largest inbound‑tourism source. The authorities aim to convert the experimental route into seasonal or regular service.
