Remo signs midfielder Edson Fernando on loan and releases three players
Remo confirmed the loan signing of 28‑year‑old midfielder Edson Fernando from Ukraine’s Karpaty Lviv until the end of the season. The Brazilian, who previously played for Rukh Lviv, FC Juárez and other clubs, began training with the squad in Belém and is expected to add depth to the midfield.
In the same week the club announced the departure of three members of its first‑team roster. Forward João Pedro, who scored seven goals in 27 appearances and helped Remo secure promotion to Série A, terminated his contract by mutual agreement and has signed a pre‑contract with Atlético‑GO. Uruguayan striker Diego Hernández saw his loan spell end, having played 33 matches and contributed three goals and two assists. Midfielder Patrick de Paula also left after his loan expired, featuring in 14 games and scoring twice. The club thanked the three athletes for their service as it restructures the squad for the remainder of the season.
