Vitória-Minas Railway opens ticket sales for December holiday trips

The Vitória-Minas Railway (EFVM), operated by Vale, has opened ticket sales for its special holiday train service scheduled for December. The service will feature nighttime travel between Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, allowing passengers to travel overnight and arrive at their destinations during the day. This special operation is held during peak holiday periods in December, January, and July and will not affect the regular passenger train schedules.

Tickets are being released gradually, with new dates made available daily for travel up to 45 days in advance. Prices vary by segment, with some fares reaching R$ 125.

In preparation for the December trips, the ticket management and sales system will undergo a modernization process. A new platform is set to launch on November 11, aimed at improving navigation, enhancing data security, and consolidating operations into a single system. During the migration, ticket sales will be unavailable across all channels from 10:00 PM on November 10 until 6:00 AM on November 11. Registered users will be required to create new accounts on the updated site, though using previously registered emails is recommended to facilitate the association of existing tickets.
