Vitória nears deal for ASA striker Alex Bruno

Esporte Clube Vitória is in advanced negotiations to sign striker Alex Bruno from ASA de Arapiraca. The 27-year-old has been a standout performer this season, recording 24 goals and four assists in 34 matches.

The proposed deal is structured as a loan with an option to purchase 60% of the player's economic rights for approximately R$ 4 million. While Sport Club do Recife had also been in advanced talks with the player, Vitória's status in the top division has made them a more attractive destination.

Despite a recent FIFA transfer ban that prevents the registration of new players, Vitória officials believe the issue will be resolved shortly, allowing the transfer to proceed. If finalized, Alex Bruno would leave ASA before the club's Série D semi-final matches.
