Vitória President projects R$ 100 million budget increase via Arena Barradão

Fábio Mota, president of Esporte Clube Vitória, announced that the modernization of the Barradão stadium into the Arena Barradão is expected to add R$ 100 million to the club's annual budget. The project aims to create new revenue streams by transforming the venue into a multi-use space featuring commercial areas, a museum, and facilities for events and conventions.

Club leadership is currently studying design changes to increase the stadium's capacity, with the goal of accommodating more than 50,000 spectators.

The project is currently under analysis by the local government. The club expects to secure necessary licenses by the end of 2026, with construction scheduled to begin in January 2027. Vitória plans to continue playing home matches at the current Barradão throughout 2027, with the new arena's completion projected for 2029.
