Torino to host A bit of [hi]story 2026 digital technology festival

The A bit of [hi]story 2026 festival, organized by the Museo Piemontese dell’Informatica (MuPIn), will take place in Torino from September 30 to October 4. The event focuses on the theme “Digital Equilibria: the true costs of computing,” examining the environmental, energy, and social impacts of technological evolution.

The festival aims to address hidden costs such as energy consumption, emissions, and the management of electronic waste (RAEE), while promoting awareness regarding the reuse and repair of technology. The program includes approximately 50 free events, including conferences, workshops, and laboratories, featuring over 55 speakers. Activities will be held at the Palazzo della Città Metropolitana di Torino and the Docks Dora.
