Vittoria Run & Walk to host international women's athletics event

The Vittoria Run & Walk is set to take place on Sunday, October 11, in the historic center of Vittoria. The event features three distinct phases designed to promote sport, inclusion, and international competition.

The first phase is a walk open to families and all participants. The second phase consists of an amateur race that serves as a regional championship for both absolute and master categories. The final phase is a professional race featuring international female athletes.

The event is organized by the Polisportiva Atletica Vittoria association and includes participation from the Amici Speciali association, which aims to use sport as a tool for social inclusion and breaking down barriers. Local officials have emphasized the event's role in promoting a culture of sport that is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
