Vittorio Veneto-Cansiglio 2026 hill climb race launches with driver Garbelotto

The 43rd edition of the Vittorio Veneto‑Cansiglio hill climb (Cronoscalata) begins in the Veneto region of Italy. The event runs from 31 July to early August 2026, with technical inspections on 31 July in Fregona and official reconnaissance runs on 1 August, followed by two championship races on 2 August that count toward the Italian Mountain Speed Championship.

Local businessman and GT3 Challenge champion Marco Garbelotto, CEO of a Cappella Maggiore parking firm, serves as the main sponsor and will drive his Porsche GT3 Cup for the first time on the mountain road. Race director Stefano Torcellan, president of the Automobile Club Treviso, oversees the competition. The 5.93‑km course follows SP422 from Mezzavilla to Valsalega, descending 450 m with an average gradient of 7.65 %.

Spectators can purchase tickets on site or via TicketOne, and the second race will be broadcast on TeleNordest.
