ViuTV launches live music variety show ‘VIURIETY SING還者’

The first episode of the ViuTV live variety show ‘VIURIETY SING還者’ recently aired, featuring a lineup of emerging singers and seasoned industry figures. The program includes musical duels among eight new generation singers, such as Ina, Lokyi, Hei, and members of the band ROVER, including Heung Tsai and Hin.

Several contestants shared their experiences returning to the competitive stage. Heung Tsai admitted that after participating in ‘King Maker V’, he had vowed never to enter another competition due to the intense difficulty, but decided to reset his mindset for this new opportunity. Other participants, including Hei and former Beanies member Ah Jo, expressed a mix of excitement and nervousness regarding the pressure of live performances.

Veteran singer Edmond Leung joined the program as a judge, noting that while he enjoys the role, he feels the weight of responsibility when evaluating young performers. The show is hosted by Leung Chiu-fung and Chung Cheuk-wing, both of whom noted the challenges and learning opportunities presented by their first experience hosting a live broadcast.
