VIV Select China 2026 reports record exhibitors and visitors in Shanghai

VIV Select China 2026 concluded at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, reporting record-breaking participation. The event featured 550 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, marking a 36.7% year-on-year increase in exhibitor numbers. Professional attendance reached 20,300 visitors from 113 countries, with overseas attendance tripling compared to 2025.

The exhibition covered 50,000 square meters and showcased advancements in animal nutrition, farm production, animal health, biosecurity, and aquaculture. Key technological highlights included the “V-AI + Smart Animal Husbandry” area, which featured over 15 companies demonstrating big-data platforms, automated feeding systems, and inspection robots.

A new Aquatic Breeding Zone was also introduced, focusing on sustainable feeds, recirculating water technologies, and disease-prevention solutions. The event included the eighth VIV International Summit, where experts discussed artificial intelligence, robotics, and the impact of global supply chain changes on the livestock industry.
