Viva Aerobús AIFA-Manzanillo route reaches 80% occupancy

The Viva Aerobús flight route connecting Manzanillo with the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) has reached an average occupancy rate of 80% during its first two months of operation. Jorge Padilla Castillo, the Undersecretary of Tourism for the State of Colima, stated that these results confirm the viability of the connection and its potential to strengthen visitor arrivals to the region.

To meet growing demand, Viva Aerobús announced a new Saturday frequency for the winter season starting December 17. Additionally, a new express connection between Tijuana and Manzanillo will be introduced on the same date. This service will include a 30-minute technical stop at AIFA, allowing passengers to maintain the same aircraft without the need to transfer, thereby optimizing travel times for both corporate and tourist sectors.
