Viva Resorts reports 45% growth in Argentine market
Viva Resorts by Wyndham reported a 45% growth in the Argentine market during 2025 and projects a further 30% increase for 2026. The company shared these results during the Feria Internacional de Turismo de América Latina (FIT) 2026 in Buenos Aires.
Argentina has become the company’s primary market in Latin America and one of its top five markets globally. This growth is particularly significant for the Dominican Republic, where most Viva resorts operate. In early 2026, approximately 15,000 Argentine travelers stayed at Viva Miches by Wyndham, while about 5,000 chose properties in Puerto Plata and Cabarete.
The Miches region, specifically the Viva Miches by Wyndham opened in late 2024, has emerged as a key destination for the chain. Executives noted that the strong response from Argentine travelers highlights the growing interest in exploring diverse and emerging locations within the Caribbean.
