Viva Van clarifies AEW signing status

Wrestler Viva Van has clarified her professional status, stating she has been signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since December 1, 2024. Despite appearing on AEW Dynamite, Collision, Rampage, and ROH TV, she had not yet received an official AEW announcement graphic. Van explained on social media that she told Tony Khan she wanted to “earn that moment” rather than having it announced immediately.

In a separate commentary, Paul Wight criticized the concept of talent “paying their dues.” He described the practice as an outdated method used by veterans to intimidate or bully younger performers, arguing that athletes should not be punished for their current success or opportunities.
