ViVa Vini Valtellina draws 3,000 attendees to Sondrio

The second edition of ViVa Vini Valtellina recently concluded in Sondrio, drawing approximately 3,000 attendees including producers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts. The event focused on mountain viticulture and the Nebbiolo delle Alpi grape, emphasizing the relationship between wine production and the local territory.

Organized by the Consorzio di Tutela dei Vini di Valtellina, the festival involved 40 official wineries. The program integrated technical discussions on biodiversity and climate with experiential activities such as vineyard tours, e-bike excursions, and tastings. Organizers noted that increasing international attendance signals growing interest in the Valtellina region, positioning wine as a key driver for local enogastronomic tourism and the promotion of the area's terraced landscapes.
