Vivaldi adds Chrome extension support to Android

Vivaldi has introduced support for Chrome Web Store extensions in its latest Android snapshot (version 4143.3). This update allows users to install extensions directly from Google’s web store on mobile devices, a feature previously lacking in the standard Chrome for Android browser.

Users must keep the ‘Desktop site’ setting enabled on the Chrome Web Store website to access the installation buttons. Additionally, Vivaldi notes that not all extensions will be compatible with the mobile interface, as some elements designed for desktop toolbars may not function correctly on smaller smartphone displays.
