Vivaldi releases 8.2 mobile update with Android extension support

Vivaldi has released version 8.2 for mobile devices, bringing significant new functionality to both Android and iOS. A major highlight of the update is the introduction of full extension support for Android users.

Through a new icon in the address bar, Android users can access the Chrome Web Store to install and manage extensions. While users can toggle extensions on or off for specific websites, the update does not yet support syncing installed extensions between desktop and mobile versions, and some extensions may not be compatible.

Additionally, the update introduces an address bar-based calculator to both Android and iOS platforms. This feature allows users to perform calculations directly within the address bar, with results appearing below the bar and an option to copy the output to the clipboard.
