Vivaldi releases browser version 8.2 with new features

Vivaldi has released version 8.2 of its web browser, which introduces a new feature allowing users to perform quick calculations directly within the address bar. This update enables users to type mathematical expressions, such as ‘150 * 1.21’, and receive immediate results that can be copied to the clipboard without opening a separate application or tab.

Alongside these functional improvements, a 64-bit version of the browser has been made available for download. While it shares the same version number as the 32-bit release, developers currently categorize the 64-bit version as experimental. Users experiencing stability issues on Windows are advised to revert to the 32-bit variant. The browser remains built on the Chromium open-source project and maintains compatibility with extensions from the Chrome Web Store.
