VIVANT: Details of Blue Walker’s contract with Beppan revealed

In the TBS Sunday Theater drama ‘VIVANT’, details regarding the relationship between the legendary hacker ‘Blue Walker’ (Riho Ota) and the secretive ‘Beppan’ unit have been clarified. Following the events of the first season, it was revealed that Ota entered into a formal technical outsourcing and confidentiality agreement with the Ministry of Defense.

The contract includes an annual compensation of 30 million yen. In exchange, Ota’s actions are monitored, and she must adhere to strict secrecy protocols, with the understanding that any information leaks could result in the erasure of her existence. The agreement also provides legal protection, including the coverage of approximately 100 million yen in damages and the avoidance of prison sentences for her previous hacking-related crimes.

Separately, actress Sumire Hanaoka, who portrays Ota, has drawn significant attention from fans due to her striking visual difference from her character.
