VIVANT drama reveals major plot twists regarding Xinxi and nuclear fusion

The Japanese drama series ‘VIVANT’ has reached a major turning point in its 16th episode, revealing key plot developments regarding the character Nozaki and his past failures. It was revealed that Ryu Minshuen, a subordinate Nozaki believed had died five years ago, is actually alive and working for the multinational private intelligence agency ‘Xinxi’.

In a notable casting feat, actor Masato Sakai portrays Ryu, appearing with a face nearly identical to the protagonist, Nogi. The storyline connects the investigation of Xinxi to a breakthrough in nuclear fusion technology and the international terrorist organization ‘Tent’, which was previously led by Nogi’s father.

The episode also explores the use of advanced technology, including an ‘AI Nogi’ created by the supercomputer Hayato, as characters attempt to track surveillance within the Public Security Bureau.
