VIVANT viewership reaches 15.4% as second season intensifies

The TBS Sunday Theater drama ‘VIVANT’ continues to see high engagement, with episode 19 recording a household viewership rating of 15.4% and a personal rating of 10.3%. This marks the ninth consecutive week that the second season has exceeded a 15% household rating. The series has also maintained the number one spot in global X (formerly Twitter) trends for nine consecutive weeks.

In the latest episode, the plot intensifies as the protagonist Nogi (Masato Sakai) and his team launch a mission to recover the ‘Beppan’ unit in the Shaki Castle region. The episode featured significant character developments, including the appearance of Nokol (Kazunari Ninomiya) and a surprise appearance by actor Takumi Nishigaki, who portrayed a member of the Special Operations Group.

Viewers and social media discussions have focused on several key elements: the intense and violent interrogation scenes, the mysterious motives of the character Ryu (Masato Sakai), and the potential connection between Ryu and Nozaki (Hiro Katsu). The narrative is now entering its final five episodes as the mystery surrounding the terrorist organization ‘Tent’ and the ‘Shinsi’ group reaches a climax.
