VIVANT side story focusing on Chingis to stream on U-NEXT

VIVANT Chingis Origin Story U-NEXT TBS Japanese drama

The side story “Chingis -VIVANT THE ORIGIN STORY-” will begin exclusive streaming on U-NEXT starting September 20. This four-episode series explores the backstory of the character Chingis from the popular TBS drama “VIVANT”.

The narrative focuses on Chingis’s childhood in an orphanage established by Nogoon Beki, the leader of the terrorist organization “Tent”. It aims to reveal the circumstances behind his meeting with Beki and the motivations that led him to become a police officer in the Republic of Balka. The series is expected to include foreshadowing for the second half of the “VIVANT” second season.

New cast members include Bokuzo Shona, playing the orphanage principal Akram, and Rena Matsui, playing the teacher Naira. The episodes are scheduled to release on September 20, 23, 27, and 30.
