VIVANT spin-off program gains popularity amid drama hiatus

The spin-off program ‘VIVANT Akuyaku Kaigishitsu’ (Villain Conference Room) is gaining significant popularity as a companion to the TBS Sunday drama ‘VIVANT’. Despite the main series entering a two-week hiatus, the spin-off continues to engage audiences through radio broadcasts and digital streaming.

The program features three antagonist characters from the first season—Takaya Sakoda as Yamamoto, Yamato Kawauchi as Waniz, and Toru Baba as Gobi—who gather to monitor the developments of the second season and plot revenge. The show has seen massive digital engagement, with a recent YouTube stream reaching a peak of approximately 202,000 concurrent viewers and surpassing 2.96 million views within three days of release.

TVer has released a special two-part edition of the program, featuring guest appearance by director Yohei Miyazaki. This special edition offers behind-the-scenes insights and discussions regarding the upcoming second half of the drama. Additionally, a collaboration featuring free LINE stickers of the show's characters is available on TVer until October 12.
